Alrighty, I know that the POA buzz is over. But it seems that we should be even more geared up for the release of HBP! It there a community set up for any line parties/get togethers in NYC? *Are* there any line parties/get togethers in NYC?

July 15th just happens to be the last day of a class that I am taking at NYU, and I'm ecstatic that I'll be in the city to get my copy. I was surrounded by local kids (ie - a few of my students) when I went for OotP. And my husband keeps asking me why I can't wait until I get home from NYC to get my copy... *sigh*.

So what will all you native New Yorkers be doing at 9:00 pm, July 15th?

Great pics! It does look like a lot of fun. I kept trying to see what events each B & N had for HP, but the online log wouldn't look that far ahead. Grr. I'll have to just call the Union Square one. I hope it isn't too late to order my copy from them . . .

Thanks!

In addition to Jim Dale at the B&N on Union Square, Books of Wonder on West 18th Street is having something. You're welcome to join my yahoo group if you like, we meet once in a while on Sundays as HP fans, not just for premieres and such. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hogwarts_local_nyc
